Mathematics for Business (B 04 248)

The study course is intended for the acquisition of mathematical knowledge and practical skills, which are necessary for the acquisition of further special study courses, as well as for the acquisition of skills for the application of mathematical methods in the researching of various economic and managerial problems. The course examines set theory, elements of matrix algebra , the mathematical theory of linear economic models, elements of mathematical analysis, limits, derivative and its application to the research of economic functions, indefinite integral, definite integral and its applications.
